Job creation in the artisanal sector through support to migration actors in Tunisia.

The project (Creative Tunisia 2.0) is rooted in the EU's initiative to support the protection and economic and social (re)integration of returning Tunisians, displaced populations, and host communities in Tunisia. It builds upon the achievements and ongoing activities of the "Strengthening Handicraft and Design Value Chains in Tunisia" project (referred to as Creative Tunisia 1.0), a successful EU program supporting the artisan sector. Creative Tunisia 2.0 aims to inclusively and multidimensionally support the economic and social (re)integration of Tunisian youth, women, and migration actors through skill training and the establishment of micro-projects. The project will collaborate with Tunisian diaspora, local associations, and organizations supporting the socio-economic reintegration of Tunisian migrants, while fostering stronger public-private partnerships to boost the national private sector's development and entrepreneurship among returning migrants.
