Project to improve the quality and reach of the Accelerated Non formal
The Project will strengthen the status and effectiveness of Youth and Adult Literacy and Basic Education (YALBE) within the framework of accelerated learning. It will respond to the current learning needs of youth and adults by ensuring increased equitable and inclusive access to relevant, accelerated basic education and literacy opportunities of good quality for Afghan youth and adults, especially women and adolescent girls through the provision of Basic General Literacy (BGL) and pre-vocational skills to 1500 youth and adults (70% women) and capacity building of 1000 literacy facilitators and 125 community mobilizers through national implementing partners (IPs).
