The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM), and the International Organization for Migration, have entered into an agreement to cover activities involved in processing individuals requesting refugee status and resettlement in the United States. Refugees are accepted by the United States Government for resettlement from a number of countries. After their selection, they have to be brought to the United States. IOM is tasked to provide support in this process, ensuring dignified and safe travel from the points of departure until the final destinations in the United States.
