Better Education for Africa's Rise (BEAR III) Project

The overarching objective of BEAR III is to offer better employment opportunities to youth in sub-Saharan Africa and support the economies of these countries by addressing the evolving needs of the labour market. In order to achieve these objectives, the TVET system of new beneficiary countries in Western Africa -Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone- will be strengthened and made more resilient through BEAR III. In addition, the five BEAR II project countries - Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Tanzania and Uganda - will continuously be supported to keep the sustainability of outcomes made by BEAR II project.
