Education Sector Program Implementation Grant (ESPIG) GPE
UNESCO Myanmar Office will implement the ESPIG programme funded by GPE for the disadvantaged children and youth under the emergency in Myanmar. The ESPIG programme is jointly implemented by UNICEF and Save the Children. The total budget of ESPIG is USD 53.5 million. UNESCO is to implement its 20%, which is USD 10.7 million. Two sister inputs were created for USD 10 million for the implementation and USD 0.7 million for the agency fee. ESPIG has 3 main components (access, quality and system development). UNESCO activities fall into 3 components.
