In Gaza, approximately 5,500 UNRWA personnel are delivering humanitarian aid daily despite ongoing risks. This Appeal prioritizes staff care alongside sustaining emergency operations. UNRWA remains the largest actor in aid logistics and distribution, requiring funding for personnel, logistics, and safety. The Agency will enhance aid efficiency through digital verification and continue using its infrastructure, trucks, and staff to transport and track supplies, dispatch fuel to critical facilities, and coordinate inter-agency operations. It will also continue mission coordination with UNDSS and disseminate essential data. If Israeli legislation disrupts UNRWA’s operations, a major gap in life-saving services for two million Palestinians would emerge. UNRWA will adjust its response as needed to sustain support.
