UNRWA will aim to provide emergency multipurpose cash assistance (EMPCA), amounting to US$ 380 (new Israeli shekel [NIS] 1,250), the value agreed by the Cash Working Group (CWG), to up to 55,000 vulnerable Palestine refugee households through three rounds of transfers. The assistance will enable families to meet their most urgent basic needs, while stimulating local markets and offering flexibility to address diverse household priorities. Severely vulnerable Palestine refugee households, including those headed by elderly women, female-headed and child-headed households, and households with a family member with a disability, will be prioritised.
