2025 Syria Regional Appeal - Syria - Shelter and non-food items
In 2025, UNRWA will support 2,000 households with minor repairs using the self-help approach in Dera’a, Ein el Tal, and Yarmouk camps. UNRWA will also distribute NFIs to 500 families (1,700 individuals) facing severe hardship, including newly displaced persons, returnees, and other at-risk groups such as PRL and PRS arriving from Lebanon. Up to 6,000 displaced households (around 20,400 people) will receive shelter-related support, including US$ 126 per household per month for three months for 3,000 host families and US$ 52 per month for rental support to another 3,000 displaced households, both in a single tranche. Additionally, up to 6,000 newly affected families will receive a one-time US$ 342 cash transfer for NFIs. UNRWA also aims to provide 61,660 of the most vulnerable Palestine refugees in Syria with winter-related NFIs through a cash-based modality.
