STEM/ICT ED project in Tajikistan
With the support EU, UNESCO will assist Tajikistan in its efforts to improve the quality of upper secondary education and teacher training, in particular the project aims to design textbooks, teaching and learning materials for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects based on competency-based curricula at upper secondary education level and to develop national ICT competency standards for teachers. In addition, the in-service teacher training centers at secondary and VET level will be upgraded with STEM and relevant VET equipment.
