Towards Ending AIDS as a Public Health Threat by 2030.The Global Fund’s support contributes to the achievement of the overall strategic goal of the Zimbabwe National HIV and AIDS program to end AIDS as a Public Health threat (aligned to SDG3) by 2030. To reach this goal, Zimbabwe aims at achieving the following impact results: reduce HIV incidence in Zimbabwe by 60% from 0.48% in 2018 to less than 0.19% by 2026; to reduce AIDS-related deaths to 60% from 21,800 in 2018 to less than 10,464 in 2026
