2025 oPt Emergency Appeal - West Bank - Food Security

UNRWA, in cooperation with WFP, will continue supporting 38,350 individuals - Bedouin and herder communities in Area C through food security interventions, providing in-kind food assistance during the first half of 2025 and transitioning to food vouchers valued at US$ 13.66 (ILS 50) per person, per month, in the second half of the year. In addition, UNRWA and WFP will provide food vouchers to 19,500 West Bank households (99,670 individuals) , mainly Palestine refugees, most affected by the deteriorating security situation and movement restrictions. UNRWA will also extend emergency CfW opportunities to 8,000 households in severely affected Palestine refugee camps, with one member per household receiving a three-month CfW contract averaging US$ 561 per month, performing skilled and unskilled roles supporting UNRWA services, Agency installation maintenance, community infrastructure projects, and capacity building within community-based organizations.
