The Ministry of public education requires technical assistance in inclusion of GCED and ESD in learning materials. A guideline for revision of learning materials and a report with recommendations will be delivered.The project requires UNESCO to hire and train specialized consultants to develop materials. It involves strengthening the capacity of educational authorities and specialized teams responsible for integrating GCED and ESD into learning materials. The project will assess the relevance and usefulness that the materials have in the classrooms. The learning materials will reach 1.2 million teachers and 25 million preschool, primary and secondary students in Mexico.
